Reference Letter from Dave in January 2009

I understand that you are seriously looking at purchasing an ultra fast cross trainer. I purchased one last fall and thought that I could give you my report. Here it is... I'm glad I did it.

I could end right there, that says it all. This many months later and I'm still glad I did it. I've purchased exercise equipment before and ended up using them as spare clothes racks, etc. In fact I mentioned just the other day to my wife, "hey look, there's never been anything hanging on the 'rom'!". Other machines just didn't have the draw, or purchase price for that matter! Maybe that's why I have been lots more diligent in using it. The bigger the investment the more likely you're going to want to get your value out of it!

When I first started using the machine I did the fitness test as suggested by Chris, six weeks later I saw great improvement. I had also been dieting during that time, which definitely helped. It shows that a sensible diet combined with effective exercise can do wonders.

The thing that really intrigued me, I'll be honest, was the four minute exercise. I had been going to the gym and realistically was spending at least two hours from start to finish with travel etc. I just didn't have that kind of time, so for years the workout was the thing that got left out. Finally, I had to do something about it and that's when I started going to the gym.

The cost of the gym membership for my family plus the time it took out of my busy schedule was killing me. I needed to make a change. When I found the ultra fast cross trainer I thought I could get back my time, and still do some exercise. It has worked out well for me. I still have a ways to go before I am satisfied with my fitness, but this is helping a lot. We have winter here in Salt Lake City, so running is a bummer, and also I have weak ankles and feet. The "no joint stress" aspect of the machine is also a draw for me.

It has performed well mechanically, no problems whatsoever. It's easy to use and I can run downstairs and do it when I've got a few minutes, four of them!

I've probably rambled way to long. If you have any questions feel free to email me back. Good luck in all you do.

Dave
